if the viewfinder is blurred, then it might be the dioptre correction which is out
If its dirty then a cotton bud will do the job as long as you are careful, also try removing the focussing screen via the catch above the mirror and cleaning it with a microfibre cloth

Is it blurred (out of focus) or smeared?
If blurred, have you knocked the viewfinder dioptre adjustment?
If it's smeared, a small lens cloth will clean it, maybe with help from a cotton bud - and it's easier if you remove the eyecup.
