I have been using ViewNX 2 as my image processor of choice for a couple of years now. My cameras, the D700 and D7000 have not changed. My computer, however, has changed to an i5 16GB Windows 7 64 bit. For this last, I had to download a new version of ViewNX, which has behaved, up until now.
Today I tried to process an image from the D7000, and after some radical colour and exposure corrections, tried to 'convert' to jpeg. I received the message: "Your cannot apply this operation to unsupported files. Please re-select files and try again."
The 'file' is just a normal NEF from the camera. Strangely enough, a NEF which was converted without any PP passed through OK.
Can anyone shed any light ?
