Villages in kent, GREAT CHART.

I guess that's a death knell for the village shop, then. Sad, but at least the residents have somewhere to shop. I remember that I only found out that our village shop was closing when he was packing up all the contents. I had not realised he was in trouble otherwise I would have made a point of shopping there more often. We have nothing in the village now except for one pub. It is two and a half miles to the nearest shop.
