Nice bike.

Picture 1 looks odd, has he modified it so that he can change gear using his hands?
 
WOW i dont know a thing about bikes, but my brother had a Vincent 1000cc late 50s early 60s he was bike crazy:)

To be honest, I'm not sure but the gear lever was still connected.

Perhaps someone else can tell from these?

I really like the last image, my father had a Vincent Black Shadow, but i have no recollections of what it looked like aprt from a view as the last image, and have no idea of this model here, but the last image reminds of a view when sitting on the back of my father and pearing through his right arm...
The controls were on my fathers, i beleive this is not a modification.. I am pretty sure one is for the brake and one for the clutch, the years have played tricks, i just cannot remember positivly..

The handle bars on these bikes had 3 levers, Righthand: brake, Lefthand: upper, clutch and lower, exhaust valve lifter.
 
Yes, I knew that OK but I thought Knikki was meaning that ally box thing.

It seems a bit big for a dipper switch.
