Vintage Tripod I.D . ?

Bought a vintage tripod from a car boot a short while back for £2 if i remember and wondered if anyone could spot the make / model ?

I think it may be Manfrotto but not sure .... looks 60's / 70's. Its built to a high standard and is 100% alloy ... super sturdy tripod

Hmmm - just as I was about to suggest it may well be a Velbon of some early Vintage. Then again I was hoping to obscure my age.

I had a telescope that had a tripod just like that some years ago. (Probably 1980ish)

The head looks like a Slik, maybe a D1 or D2.
