Violet dropwing

Another holiday snap from the Algarve, taken while waiting for a swallowtail to show itself. This is a completely new species for me and took me ages to identify, but once I had the name is obvious. It just wouldn't take its wings from over its face. This is the female - it's the male that's violet.
