Hello all :)

I very recently bought a new 500D and - in doing so - decided to sell a pristine EF 28-80mm f3.5 that I'd bought a few years ago for use with a 35mm EOS 1. Trouble is, as soon as my new camera arrived with the kit lens, I was asked to take some candid photos at a wedding in Majorca next month and just didn't feel that an 18-55mm was long enough.

So (to cut a long story short), I've just bought the USM version of the lens I sold (in what seems to be perfect nick) for an additional £15.

It'll do nicely for the wedding, what to do afterwards...

1) Keep both it and the 18-55 kit lens
2) Sell it and continue looking for a longer zoom to match the kit lens
3) Sell the kit lens and look for something to compliment the 28-80

Bloody hell. HELP ME SOMEBODY.

EDIT: In a moment of madness, I've just added a Tamron AF 55-200 F/4-5.6 LD Di II MACRO that I picked up pretty cheap on the Bay. So - keep the kit lens of the 28-80...

Apparently, the Canon 55-250mm IS is a corker. I have bought one off of the bay and waiting for it to arrive!

Bit late for that, and anyway I wanted to keep the cost down (I have a watch habit too, and I've been a little out of control of late).

I'll swap it for any two of mine though :)
