Hope I'm posting this in the right place.
Recently got new PC and am using Vista for the first time. Had a lot of problems at first, managed to resolve them all by completely re-installing Vista and getting rid of all the carp that Dell had put onto the PC pre-purchase.
Recently though I've noticed that I can't play a slideshow of images in my hard drive folders. There's a tab there marked 'slideshow' but clicking either does nothing or briefly gets the Vista equivalent of an egg-timer on screen, then nothing.
I've tried Googling for a solution, no joy so far.
Anyone else have this probelm or know how I might fix it?

I've tried with both large and small files, makes no difference.
