Anyone got any experience with these people? I'm looking to buy a cheap black/white pop up backdrop for a non paid gig I'm doing on short notice next week and came across this piece of kit sold by VisualBackdrops.co.uk. Are they reliable and how is their postage? Their website says: "We have a strict 7 day dispatch deadline on all "off the shelf" orders and have 90% dispatched by the next day." but first hand knowledge is worth it's weight in gold if you as me ;)

If not then can you point me to somewhere else I can get a cheap pop-up black/white backdrop with quick postage please? Needs to be about 6 to 8 foot in height so I can take basic portraits with it using a plain cloth sheet I already have as a train. I'm sure you get the jist of what I need :)
 
Bah, humbug! Just spoke to them on the phone and they don't actually have any in stock!! So I'm open to suggestions on where I can get a 6 to 8 foot tall(ish) pop up back drop ideally for less than £80 :)
 
Thanks tiler65, I've got stuff from Flash before and he's a top bloke but doesn't appear to sell backdrops (or at least not in that thread). I'll give him a PM regardless though just in case :)
 
he sell the hilite type ones though but he keeps the price a secret as to not alert the Chinese (joking)

Interfit already do one that's made specifically for holding their backdrops & reflectors but at an added £40 I'm not sure it's worth it. Well I folded! Ended up buying the Interfit pop up black/white backdrop (http://www.warehouseexpress.com/buy...psible-background-1-5x2m-black-white/p1015727) and the fitting stand for it (http://www.warehouseexpress.com/buy-interfit-int290-background-reflector-support-stand/p1004819). Will see if I can make £40 on prints to cover the costs of the stand and maybe sell them on afterwards either on TP or fleebay. Wasn't what I was hoping for but at least I know I'm getting quality kit which might improve the likelihood of selling some prints.
