Thought I'd try an abstract image of the close up of the stem of a flower. Hand held at f/1.4 using a 35mm Samyang manual focus lens.

I like the vivid colours.
 
It's a good subject to choose very colourful indeed and they do have interesting patterns inside, reminds me a bit of the old kaleidoscopes (y).

Maybe next time try and get in closer to limit the distractions in the BG - nice work though

Straight down into tulips is always tempting, ideally those stamens inside want to be pin sharp.
I've found the only way to do with good success rate is use manual focus.
