Volucella hoverflies

I spotted a Volucella pellucens hoverfly on a flowering bush. Rushed inside to get the camera and luckily it was still there when I went back. It is the first time I have shot this species.

While I was shooting it, a close relative showed up on the same bush, Volucella inanis. Only managed to get one decent shot of it.

Nice shots of a big old hoverfly Mike, these are great flies that I see often in my garden.
