VPN troubleshooting

I'm not having much luck with the VPN set up on our TV; It's working okay via the app (Surfshark) but no matter the instructions I follow, the Apple TV refuses to follow suit.

Are there any experts that can point me right?

Yep I’ve done that a million times with the smart DNS and inputted they correctly on the apply tv; it just will never load content when that’s enabled, and have to go back to the auto dns in which case it just goes for the uk. We’ve even got the iTunes account registered in the states, so it’s a bizarre one! But thanks for the reply
