A few from the RX100vi snapped in the paddock. Didn't try any action shots since they aren't really the compact's forté!
The 1918 Curtiss LeZebre special. Watching (and listening to!) the exposed valve gear clattering away to itself is quite mesmerising!
The exposed gearbox (each sprocket pair and chain is a different ratio) in a 21/29 GN Special (and a rear view of the car.)
Another aero engine in a car chassis. This time, a DeHavilland Gypsy motor (5713cc) in a GN chassis. 1925. I THINK (but am not sure) that it has a similar gearbox to the more modestly powered GN above but beefed up to take the extra torque!
As always, the VSCC put on a great show, with most of the drivers using the cars as intended. No bad prangs needed the same excessive plod intervention that rather delayed proceedings last year (we had to leave at 15:00 and plod were still stickybeaking...)
