WAC+BTCC Silverstone

I am going to the World Aerobatic Cahmpionship + British Touring Car Championships over bank Holiday weekend 28/29th August and wondered if anyone has ever been to Silverstone..any ideas for the best place to try and sit for decent shots of the cars ..the planes wont be a problem there in the air.. many thanks in advance..

Either Luffield or Woodcote (complex before start finish straight) is about the best. They are also due to have a large screen around that sort of area relaying the TV coverage.

Its the National Circuit IIRC, so Luffield would be the place to start.

apparently it's the Saturday (29th)

Haven't seen the Vulcan since 1992, can't wait...
