That is a de Havilland Vampire. Lovely old bird.

super shots kev .... what glass was on your D3 ?

I had the 300mm 2.8 on the D3 and the 70-200mm on the D300. Swopped around as required.

Very nice st. All look nice and sharp, and good prop blur, where required.

The shadows on the Typhoon in #7 make this shot work exceptionally well, as they pick out the detail on an otherwise bland underside. I have found it difficult to get satisfactory shots of the Typhoon from this view.

Shot #3 shows off the Breitling superbly, like an air-to-air shot.
