Good set,Roger. Maybe it had seen the gulls taking chicks over then days and was making its feelings known. I don't suppose so. I think it was a moorhen chick a gull ..the black-headed variety, took off the water where the Bull Finches/Warblers are near Knott hide on Monday last. I'd no idea they were so tall,I've only seen them paddling round and walking,I'm quite taken aback.

I've never seen them effectively walking upright like that either John ... I've seen them 'fluttering' upright, when they are squaring up to one another but this was quite different.
