Want a Canon 35mm f1.4

I'm planning on getting one of these for weddings as well as street photography. They seem awesome from what I can see. I currently have a 24-105 and 100 is macro and body wise a 5d and a 50d. I don't have anything really fast for the indoor shots and I think this would be a great lens to get. Ideally I would like another ff body and an 85mm too but budget won't allow yet. Does anyone see any fatal flaws that I'm missing?

Possibly the flexibility of something like the 16-35mm f2.8L? I know it's not as fast as the 35L, but it could offer a bit more flexibility...

If not, the 35L is a stunner, no two ways about it. A friend of mine had one for a while, and we had a play around London one day. It produced some awesome pictures on his 5D2 and my 400D (at the time, I'm a 7D man now )

I'm using a 35/f1.4 on a cropped body, for life style events wedding and the like it's top shelf. Equal to 56mm on a FF, 50mm is the focal length of choice for most pros doing weddings with FF. the 35mm is super fast with great bokhe, the way the focus falls off is bril!

I'm not convinced about the 50mm being the choice for most as the indoor shots and getting ready and environmental portraits from most I've looked at tend to be wider and the close ups tend to be longer. But at least I have the option of using it on my crop as well.
