Does anyone know or have any experience in hiring a studio area in Bristol please?
I am looking for a half day hire for some full portraits work I need to do. At first I had thought of trying to just get a small hall but a studio with lighting and backdrop will save me having to drag my mobile studio along and set it up.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks

If you put "photography studio hire bristol" into google you will get several hire sites around Bristol. (Bath also has some - Colin Hawkins / Hawkeye has a studio, nice bloke when I met him).

I have been to
Eyebox studio

Which is located on a small industrial estate (Calumet is not all that far away if you forget anything, not the same estate though). When I visited on its open day it looked well kept, clean. Not all that big though and I thought the area for makeup/changing was at the time a little small and gloomy - but that was a couple of years back. On the whole it looked ok to me. I have not visited some of the others that will come up in the search but there are several around Bristol and I believe there is a large studio in Portishead that mostly is used for video shoots.

You could also try via these people

Who mention the studio at Colston Yard (was rumoured to have a 'wet floor' and drain for product work etc) and they also mention a space at Paintworks.

Hope this helps.
