I've just recently completed my first public commission and it was a bit curious attending the official 'thank you' to the fundraisers. I was completely farmiliar with the work on the walls, within which there was a fair amount of repetition that to me felt quite awkward. I had to see through the repetition to the actual layout of the designs within the building, which is what made it all work. The images are placed in groups so that from individual seating areas you would see groups of images. Different seating areas would present different groups of shots. Quite clever really. The benefits of having your work curated by another person. A good experience.
