Looking for some warm, waterproof gloves for woodland photography that are flexible enough to use on my camera controls and don’t cost a fortune. Any recommendations?
I was also going to suggest Sealskins if waterproof is important to you. The issue with gloves is the general rule that the warmer you need them to be the less dextrous they become. Have a look at shooting gloves with fold back fingers and thumbs as well.
I have been using for years a pair of work gloves for working in cold environments rubbery outside with a fluffy lining, just cut off a finger and thumbs from the gloves
Have seen similar for sale in Aldi recently probably get them in Screwfix too
I have a pair of Valleret and also Sealskinz.
Both are good but the Vallarets win for me as the fingertip and thumb fold back.
There are probably Sealskinz that do the same
My hands are always warmish so I very rarely need gloves but I have a pair in my bag most of the time in the colder months just incase
