Do not attempt to use studio flash synch leads on newer DSLR bodies from Nikon - it'll fry the chips.
Use instead a hotshoe-mounted IR release or a wi-fi release.
Just got the nod from the Nikon boys yesterday and it confirmed something we'd heard about a while back.
It may even have been mentioned here before, but it's official now.

Does Nikon's wifi transmitter suffer from the same problem as the Canon one, whereby it doesn't transmit 'backwards' (behind itself)?

I keep having to hold my flashgun forwards of the camera body. Not a show stopper but annoying nonetheless.

Rob, I thought that only applied if the voltage involved was a couple of hundred volts, as found on older flash heads... my Interfit Stellar is about 4.5v, and I haven't had any problems... yet...
