Remember to close the zips on your camera bags!!!!! Stupid here forgot to and swung backpack onto back to hear a sudden clatter of camera across floor...

Did that while back, luckily the 120-300 jammed in the unzipped bit and stopped everything else falling out,very lucky and lesson learnt.
 
Just having a Sunday peruse through the threads and came across this! Have to say I sat and thought how I'd have been on my knee's in tears at what happened!

Glad to hear you have insurance though.

My wife says I have OCD when it comes to checking the zips & clips on my camera bag :lol:

See if they let you keep the 70-200, I'd bet you'd still get a couple of hundred for it on Ebay....
 
Ugh! How horrible. I've had a near miss doing the same thing - fell onto the carseat luckily rather than into the road.
