Just a couple of shots taken yesterday at he wartime weekend in Saddleworth..
Churchill Playing fields.
The entrance to the site, and a dressed up couple and their dogs.

Why people want to dress up like this I have no Idea? but hundreds do.

Excellent. I remember seeing those 2 at the top a couple of years back (I took a photo of them too) I went along to this today, was pretty good and the weather certainly helped.

I was there on Sunday ( today) , brilliant time, even had a Lancaster bomber fly over....

Just a little photo shop ( ok a lot ) and back we go to WWII

Great stuff guys, love the last pic. I live in Uppermill and spent the afternoon enjoying the events, highlight being the Lancaster doing it's 3 fly-by's.....

To top it off later we were enjoying a drink and barby in the back garden when the Red Arrows flew over (7.30pm).......Didn't have the camera to hand though!!!
