I like the composition, but perhaps, a little more colour in the weeds and contrast in the sky?
Hope things pick up for you soon.

Nice shot. A wee sharpen wouldn`t go amiss but a good capture all the same.

Anyhow, if you can channel the sadness into something as pure and artistic as getting out to beautiful places and making images like that one, you'll do just fine. (y)
 
Tough luck on the girl front - she'll be back. Lots of couples split up so they can get back together again. Meanwhile, you've channeled your energies to good effect. If you need to find a replacement go to some places where lots of girls go, but don't go looking for a girl.
