The idea is good but the light/processing isn't, it's very drab and needs lifting IMO.
The waterfall(?) is lost in the distance, closer and it would make a useful focal point, the telegraph pole needs cloning out.
There is a small halo effect around the top of the trees... processing could improve some elements of the image.
 
I totally agree - it's screaming for some good light. I'm sure it would look a lot better with leaves on the trees, or if you want to do winter then a clear sky and a crisp frost to make those bare trees stand out. The telegraph pole stands out so much it has become the focal point of the image - take it away and there really isn't a focal point.
 
I expect that this is the best of a bad light day which makes the image a little flat. Definitely a place to revisit on a day with better lighting. I'd also be tempted to move in a little closer on the waterfall?
