Washing Lowepro vertex

Hi,
Last week I purchased a used vertex 200 off eBay, mint condition apart from it smells a bit weird from the previous owners house. Anyone ever put their bag in the wash? I sprayed it with febreze and hung it on the line for a few days but I can still smell it. Any ideas? It's not THAT bad but would rather clean it

I washed my Lowepro Fastpack 250 in the washing machine using NikWax Techwash on a short wash cycle. Came out OK, BUT you can tell it was washed! It has faded slightly. If you are keeping it, then no problem. I would NOT reccomend ordinary washing powder.
I use NikWax for all my (Paramo) walking gear, (including rucksacks) It cost me plenty, (walking gear) so I look after it.

Exactly why I said use NikWax Techwash!

You don't need to buy a large bottle. They do a sachet, good for one wash.
Walking/Outdoor shops sell them.

Yeah you can pick up a 300ml bottle for just over £5 on eBay or a one use sachet for £1.90 plus postage.
Hopefully it'll fit in the washing machine
