Wasp Spider

Photographing spiders is really not my forte, I absolutely know it. I have nothing against them whatsoever, my OCD ness just finds the whole spider and web thing uninspiring, which probably contributes to my inability to do them justice.

However I saw this one today and I've never seen one like it before. Of course I had to climb a bit and just about had one secure point for one foot while leaning over and having to shoot upward with head to one side wedged in brambles so not ideal

They're not great shots, more a case I thought others might be interested in seeing the spider.

Apparently they're slowly moving further north throughout the country and were only ever seen on the south coast in the 70s!

I am viewing them on my phone. They look good to me Spiders are not an easy subject generally with the position of them and their webs getting in the way.

I have not seen one of these yet.

I think they worked out well. Very nice angle with the second one.

I've not seen one of them either.
