Water drop collision setup

Hi i am wanting to do some water drop collisions after seeing some of the great photos on here. But i was wondering how i do it?? and what equipment i will need?? I no i need water bowl etc but how to control the drops and to get 2 to full just after each other to get the collision.

If you are kind enough to share your ways i would be very greatful.

i used a sink full of water, with a coloured plate and then set the tap to drip.....

and then got lucky :-
