Hi,

I got my first DSLR today (Nikon D80) and I thought it would be cool to try to do some water droplet shots. the background is just my kitchen tiles as I was just practicing.

Please be nice as this is my first attempt at using a DSLR as well as droplets...

Apologies in advance if the pics are too big...I haven't mastered my software yet :bonk:

Super start Julia I like the one you like best too. Congrats on your new camera also. ;)

#2 is a sea-lion!

Good work for your first efforts :) , I remember trying that a long time ago and took literally hundreds to get some I was happy with.

awesome first shots! liking those a lot!

Congrats on the purchase ... glad you finally got the camera! :)

I like #1 & #3,as for me they make the the best shapes.
The colours reflected in the water work really well together too.

Oh btw, I see Dod didnt notice yet but :cautious:
image size is 800px on the longest side, ta! ;)

Wow! If I had one piece of advice, maybe try next time in a room with more colourful decor; I like the reflections, but it might be cool to get something other than bath tiles in the droplets. Great pictures though! 2. and 5. are my favourites.

No4 is a little fat buddah break dancing.. lol.. the sealion is doing a great job balancing that ball..

Well done.. cool shots..

First class pictures, well done.:clap::clap:
