Beginner Water splash / droplet images.

I got this setup today to try and do the usual splash images and chose these 3 as my best results.

I did get a crown or 2 but they didn't make the cut.

This was actually more difficult than I thought and took over 150 shots before getting some decent results changing the setup slightly each time.

I had a black tray of water, above this was a suspended plastic bag of water with a tiny hole to give a consistent drip.

Background of muti coloured card.

Camera on tripod with manual focus.

ISO 100, 1/160s, F8, Off camera flash pointed towards a coloured background to give the effect in the splash. No PP colouring done. Crop & exposure adjustments only.

These are a very good attempt.Well done. On the first one I would remove the red highlights / reflections and keep everything blue. Other than that I like them oll, especially the last one.
