Watercress Steam Freight Weekend

They were running some freight at the Watercress Steam railway last weekend. Light was pretty grim, sun didn't appear until late afternoon so lots of grey blown out skies

Think I'll go for the first one ,other two are ok,just a shame those lampposts have intruded somewhat
.....think I'll give the watercolour treatment a miss this time

In the last shot it was the tablet exchange that I was trying to get the lamp just happened to be in that position at the decisive moment.

To be honest, I think you were just too far away for the tablet exchange. The first thing I saw was the fact that the front of the engine had been cropped off, and then worked my way into the picture from there. Although including the platform adds context, the intended focal point is lost. I think a severe crop of the engine would isolate the exchange more effectively.
