Brought myself a welding glass and had ago at the long exposure shooting, here's my 1st attempt at it......

Nice peaceful shot and can even see the curvature of the earth

I am not to keen on the sun being so central and the blown area on the sand - does the welding glass give a b/w effect or was that editing?

The welding glass gives you a green tint to the shot but then when youve took your first pic you can custom set your white balance to this green and then when you use the welding glass with the white balance set to the custom green your pics come out like normal, however in this shot i converted it into b+w as i think it looked better :shrug:
