I've used my toploader in the usual way - on the shoulder but it slips off quite easily and found that it can be comfortably worn around my 36'' waist.
It doesn't slip down and the strap acts as a kind of belt, wondered if anybody else has tried this as my camera and 70-200mm access is right there on the hip !
