After a six hour hike yesterday in snow, hail and rain, I'm wondering what people use to keep the water off their cameras? Potentially looking for something that is good value, effective and works well from an ergonomic point of view. Whilst my camera got a bit wet, it did not suffer any ill effects, but I'd rather be safe than sorry in future.

Thanks for that, I should have added my longest lens currently is a 70-300. Most important aspect for me will be ease of use of the camera whilst it's on.

I've noticed that peak designs have a cover. It's not cheap, but I've got other peak design stuff and it all works very well. Might have to use a carrier bag until I can buy one.
