Hi fellow geeks...

as some of you know, im redoing my work website, im using frontpage :kaffeetri (whose nicked the get me coat smilie)

i worked out shared borders eventually, but im getting a different size for header and main table, suggestions please!

Different size what?

You know you shouldn't really be using Frontpage (it's evil I tell you!).

:)

when i view the page i get the header at, say 900 pixels and the then the main part of the page at 850, both are set to 100% and both have margins of 2 left and right, so i dont know!

i know its evil, but a)ive got it and b)thats the only reason

yeah teh width, i havent got a figure set i dont think, just to 100%, so theoretically it should be the same! i will post a bit tonight when i get in

There's also indents to look at as well as margins.

dont confuse me....

   <font face="arial,helvetica,sans-serif" size="2">Sound can either be
absorbed, reflected or diffused.&nbsp; In many rooms, flat
reflective surfaces can cause interfering reflections and excessive
reverberation, which corrupts music quality, speech clarity and
general hearing comfort.&nbsp; One approach to controlling these
reflections and excess reverberation time is to use absorbative
panels, we have developed a simple and cheap method of fixing these
panels which allows easy mounting and demounting of Absorbor panels.</font></p>
   <p><font face="arial,helvetica,sans-serif" size="2">We can
manufacture the panels in any size you require and finish them in
any material you require to produce an attractive and well tailored

Many call centres and offices suffer from high reflection issues
which make the workplace both uncomfortable and noisy for employees,
Acoustic Grg Products ltd. offer a range of thickness and sizes as
standard as well as our custom made panels, they can be used on wall
or ceiling to improve the acoustics of any area.<br /><br />
Many Home cinemas could be improved by the use of even a basic
absorption panel. Slap echo can be reduced by using absorbors and
high frequencies can be tamed.&nbsp; Use of 50mm Absorbors will
control a wider frequency range.&nbsp; Use of BAD panels will give
useful diffusion and lower frequncy absorption also.<br /></font></p><p>

Absorbtive panels are used extensively in acoustic designs to

Hmm... That's more code than I was hoping to look through at this time of night ;)

I'll take a better look tomorrow. Which bit specifically is wrong? And what would need to happen to it for it to look right?

its should all be the right size when its working, should fit on a 1024 screen witha small border all round.....

This is what I got with you code:

screen.gif

What should it look like?

thats about right, but the header that comes with the shared border is too long, so it makes the window above look like its sitting in half inch from both sides...

screeny:

screeny.jpg

see what i mean?

you should resize your screeny too, the mods wont like it...
