Anyone can recommend a good software for flash websites? doesn't matter need to be paid or whatsoever, I can always download the demo or 30 day trial and test it out see if i like it.

Not built a single website since the days of frontpage 98 so I am lagging behind in that field by a long way. :)

thanks

If you're talking about time line then the Flash CS3 / CS4. If you're talking about programming AS3 then Eclipse (free) + FDT (not free). Those are the tools I tend to use most.

If you want you can also look as Swish. But I'm not a fan of sites built in Swish, because you can tell they're swish sites.

But if you've not touched Flash for a while don't expect it to be quick or easy, put some time and effort into it :)

i want an intro animé and opens up to some very simple menu systems where all the pictures are organised into genera such as portraits, landscape, etc etc....
then its the photos themselves

is that something CS3 can do? was not aware that CS3 can do flash, i know adobe does the flash but didn;t know CS3 has some kind of flash builder

defintiely need to get a book on flash i think....or some tutes on the web

CS is the name of the range which includes Photoshop, InDesign, Flash, Dreamweaver, etc..

let me guess, Dreamweaver is a web builder, Flash is the anime maker. I use flash to build whatever multimedia content and then use dreamweaver to compile all my content together into a flash based website?

You can do it that way, yes :) CS3 and CS4 make it extremely easy to integrate your content from Flash projects into your Dreamweaver projects.

thanks guys, i am going to have to study this for some time. any idea on a good website for dreamweaver tutorial, and also some basic fundamental knowledge on CSS HTML XHTML PHP VBS JS (vbs and js i thought were high level programming codes) .... I am dizzy already

I think it might be best to start with basic html/css and progress from there. PHP, JS and flash are all very different things. As you progress you'll figure out what other bits you need

Quoted for truth.
