Website in Progress

Hi,

I decided that i wanted to upgrade my website so been working on colours and layout, not yet added content or photos but just wondering if the colour scheme and layout looks acceptable for a photography website.

The blue block with have a logo.
The large get block will continue a slideshow
Latest work will contain 6 sample images win uploaded.

Only viewing it on my iPad, but I like it. Quite minimalist, which is a good thing. Nice job, pal.

Only issue I have (a pet hate I suppose) is you only have a mobile number on the site. Do you not have a landline at all? As a consumer too I tend to stay clear of any business that just has a mobile number as a contact.

Just my view, though.

Looks okay so far

I like the wallpaper effect in the background, but I would personally change the colour - the grey looks a bit drab. Here's a website I'm putting together at the moment - a similar background but with a brighter colour (but that's just my opinion!)

And regarding the mobile number.... don't let that bother you - in this day and age everyone carries a mobile and it doesn't stop me getting fresh enquiries.

Very minimalist as no content yet, but it will probably be along those lines anyway.

I think the phone number has been debated many times before, and as i am only part time, it works better for me to use my phone, although all my contact has come via the email form.

I'd put a bit of colour in the background too, but, and maybe it's just me, I hate the google map on the bottom of every page, if you have to have it then just have it on your actual contact page or even the about page.
