Website needs a revamp

Well, i'm feeling my website's lacking something ... needs a more professional feel to it, but i'm stumped as to what i can do with it ....
I'm only using dreamweaver, and as you can see by the state it's currently in, i'm not overly good with it. The site does exactly what i need it to do, but i'm just feeling a little make over is needed. Also, i'm using a gallery generator, so any tips for more professional gallery generators, or how i could create galleries?

Would appreciate it if you could give me some little hints and ideas as to what i can do with it. I'd be most grateful :thumbs:

Being a student, in the process of purchasing my first car, i simply can't afford it unfortunately.
 
Hello i will offer you some constructive direction.

As you say your not that good with Dreamweaver why not try a template from template site and modify to your liking, that way you don't have sit there and think how you want to design it then implement it into html/css

As for galleries theres php items such as Gallery v2, coppermine but i am unsure how editable these are.

let me know and i can forward you some links to free w3c verifying tempaltes.
 
I'd recommend a free template, some of them are fairly good and then modify it to your liking.
 
Thanks for all the suggestions ... i'll have a play through this week when i get a spare hour here and there and see what i come up with :)
