Would anyone be able to recommend a free spam filter that is easy to add into a website for protecting php forms?

I don't mind dropping some code into the pages but I'm no coder if you know what I mean.

I'm limited to things like grabbing code online and editing it to suit such as php contact forms, html5 video, html sideshows, spry menus (I think).

I'll have a look thanks but happy to learn something new so long as it's not too difficult.

What website is it? If it's Wordpress, you should find a plug in for it.

For it to work and not be circumvented by the spam bots the validation needs to be done server side, so that where the extra coding comes in. unfortunately not just as simply as dropping in some JavaScript.

It's built from scratch myself, it's got cPanel which may have something available though.
