Really? Stewart normally has like 3-4 of each lens. Must be a popular lens you are looking for. Perhaps let us know what lens you was looking to rent and we could recommend suitable replacements?

I have used Stuart at lensesforhire a few times and he is very good.

I have hired camera bodies from them and they are also good, they do lenses as well. They have the 70-200 f2.8 and a 1.4 converter which will give you 280mm @ f4

I paid by credit card, I don't think lensesforhire took payment for the full price of the lens, but camerasforhire did take a lump up front (when I hired a 1D MK4) which they refunded as soon as I returned the camera.

yeah right if i had £5000 spare i would not be renting a 500mm

average weekly rental around £100 calumet £214

digital photo mag came today. i subscribe so guess aug issue wont be in shops till later this week
