Hi, for the last couple of years I've been to WEC/ELMs on the Saturday but last year lost out on some photo opportunities when WEC practice was snowed off.
I'm trying to weigh up whether to go on Race Day this year. A fair bit more expensive on Race day but the WEC cars obviously get a lot more track time on Race Day. Access for photos is quite reasonable on the Saturday as it's quieter. I'm wondering what it's like on Race Day. Are opportunities much more restricted by crowds? I found it's not too bad trying to get access through fence holes on practise/qualifying day.
Also if I go on the Saturday again I'll potentially have Sunday free with the family before going to Oulton Park on the Monday for the British GT championship. Can anyone advise how busy this is likely to be? I've only to been to Oulton park for the BTCC practice/qualifying on a Saturday before now.
I was lucky enough to get a Canon 100-400mk2 for my 40th in September but I've not had chance to get out with it since due to another new arrival in October . Looking forward to giving it some exercise!
