Wedding dilemma

Yes
A situation has arised where a bride with no budget is asking for a cheap/student photographer (i.e free) to shoot a wedding. Ceremony only.
I'm in a dilemma as i need wedding shots to complete a photography course i'm currently on but at the same time i don't want to jump in with 2 feet and screw up.
I have no wedding experience but then again the the client is not paying.
I'm guessing with no budget and ceremony only (i.e no reception) it's going to be a quick 30 minute job at a registry office.
I think i could possibly pull it off by getting the formals done but a little voice is telling me to let this one slip by

Go for it!
But make very sure that the bride knows what she is getting... I have shot one wedding under the proviso that they may get NOT A SINGLE good photo out of the day! If they are happy with that then you can shoot in a relatively unstressed fashion and will undoubtably get some great shots.

Of course you have to approach it as professionally as you can ... take backup bodies etc etc.

Good luck it is stressful but ultimately rewarding in my opinion! and if you need the shots for your course then you will have to do it at some point!
