Wedding Help needed

Hi there, long time lurker, first time poster!

I have been asked to shoot a wedding on April 29th (short notice) but my second can't make it. Apparantly the Grooms Granny was supposed to sort the Photographer out but forgot to send the cheque off, so I have been asked to step in.

I was wondering if anyone would be free that day to help out?

It's in London, and its a fair size, so really could do with someone who has a good level of experience of shooting weddings.

There may be space for someone for less experience as well if they want to come along to gain some.

This is a paying job, which is something we can discuss on a one to one basis.

If your interested please leave your details below, serious candidates only, I don't want every Tom, Dick and Harry posting just because there is money available.

Damn. For a moment I thought it said "Welding Help Needed". I'm available on that date too - I've got a mask and rods and everything. :shake:

Second time I pulled the gag, first time got a few more people, but then once they had worked it out, they decided not to post to say so to let a few more people get taken in.............

Nice to see that even with people stating the obvious, I still got a couple of people.....;)

Hi, I am within 60 miles of london so very local and 29th is not short notice at all, short notice would have been phoning me saying "I need you in 5 minutes bro" so there's more than enough time :)

My 40d is my dads camera unfortunately and he'll be away with it then taking pictures of supercars but I can ask my uncle if I can borrow his 400d, it must be much better as it has an extra 0 in the name and is much smaller so I can bring it with me on the bus.

I have lots of experience taking pictures of people, then I photoshop the images afterwards so their angry faces look like happy ones. I've not sold a photo yet as people seem to think I'm joking when I ask them to come into boots with me while I'm holding a compact flash card but I've not been arrested yet so it's all good.

I think I am suitable for this job because my name isn't tom, dick or harry, bit of a funny requirement but it's your job so you must know best, do they charge more than sam, daniel and matthews? Also I'd be interested in what the payment is, one to one sounds a bit like something you'd do with a consenting woman in a hotel room or by one to one do you mean you'll give me £1 for every picture? I could quite easily fire off 800 shots of peoples shoes and could really do with the money.

I look forwards to hearing from you, if it's not too much trouble could I have a lift though?
 
Well I only live around the corner in Wales so I'll pop up and help, I want to try out my Lubitel anyway so it's give it a good test.

...and I have noticed that you are not the only offender.

I hope you realise that your new identity will not be able to access the classifieds for a month.
