Hello!
I'm shooting my first wedding this weekend, and to be honest I need all the help I can get. Luckily it's for a friend so there won't be as much pressure as I ease myself into it all.
I'm using a Nikon D300 with Nikon's 50mm F/1.4D AF lens, with a brand new SB-900 & Stofen Omni-Bounce which I'm still struggling to find my way around.
Now, experienced wedding photographers, do you use fill-flash for most of your portrait shots? I'm going for the reportage, minimal posing style as this suits me better I feel. Is it acceptable to leave the camera on aperture priority then change that to suit whichever shot I'm taking, using flash to fill in the gaps?
Any tips in the way of posing and general handling of the day? Like any shots that your clients sort of 'expect' from their day? Any comments or help on the functionality of the SB-900 would be greatly appreciated too.
Sorry for all the questions, thanks in advance for helping me out!
Kris.
