A wedding I was a second photographer at Warwick Castle, last Sunday was in the Sun newspaper on Page 9 and here

for all the wrong reasons....

Maybe he really doesn't like Lulu?

The Groom was mad on George michel music and got some stick in the speeches about it from his best men, but he laughed it off, where it first went wrong they played the wrong music on the cd when getting married, so he was not happy about this.
but really when we left about 10.30pm, there at been no trouble apart from him and his large m8 having a mess about fighting upstairs, he got told to stop and also about the swearing being used, in the wedding breakfast. They had some comedian on who was great and kept the jokes clean. But mostly I would have thought it was the drink that did it if anything, I only saw a youngish guy who was watching tv in his van for security and the size of some of these guys he would have stood no chance.

Well that will be a photo album with a diffrent, did oyu manage to get some Detail shots of the tazer and the police dogs?

Does sound like a very strange story.

I suppose that they could include the "official" shots taken at the station. Would they be classed as "portrait" or "reportage";)

Lol my mate ben and I did a wedding a few years ago where the reception degenerated into a punch up between the families , as I recall the best man made some crack about the bride being easy ( IIRC he said "when Dean and Emma (names for illustrative purposes only  ) met it was love at first sight, or should that be they made love at first sight, she was so easy she should have had a matress tied to her back....")

brides father then lamped the best man, the groom jumped in to try to seperate them , another of the brides relations attacked him and it all kicked off between the grooms mates on one side and the bride's male family members oin the other... I'm not sure what happened next because by that point we were hiding in the kitchen with the waiting staff - when the police arrived we made a sharp exit.

fortunately this didnt make the Sun (or other national press) but I did read an account of it by the best man in the FHM letters page about 6 months later

"But John — already irked by a couple of mistakes during the civil ceremony and reception — flipped when the DJ at the evening disco wavered from the requested playlist and spun Lulu’s Shout instead."

Made my day...and he'd had a 'few' drinks...:suspect:

Last pic in story.. "Not needed ... hotel's romantic honeymoon suite!"

haha
