Thinking of doing something with this, anyone know of any recommended (or personal recommendation) for a course/seminar/book/whatever? :)

Have had a shufty through the forums search facility but it's come up with nowt so don't know whether this has been discussed before?

I'd rather end up going on a decent course rather than paying through the nose for something that isn't going to help at all :)

Cheers,
Alex

The book I liked the most is "Wedding Photography" by Mark Cleghorn. He goes through eveything you need, what to know and how the day typically goes, where you should be and what you should be doing.

Another one I like is "Step-by-step wedding photography" by Damon Tucci.

They both helped me on my first wedding :)

Hi Alex,

I have the Mark Cleghorn book and its a really good guide if you looking to delve into weddings, I also rate "Comtemporary wedding photography" by Julie Oswin and Steve Walton

As far as a course goes, my son and I spent a whole day with an award winning pro down here in the south of england, and the course took us from bridal prep throught o marketing at the end of the day..
The money spent was worth it as we learnt so much more from being almost 1 to 1 with him, Better than any reading of books !!!!

Look up a good course in your area, see if you can get feedback from others who have been on it, it will pay you dividends :thumbs:
