Brollies lol

looking to get some new brollies. 2 X Shoot Through & 2 X Reflective. (or the combi ones) and just wondering what the most practical size is in a working environment...

I know bigger the bigger / softer thing but in a real world / day in day out usage is a 60" too big...

Thanks

If you're going outside, a softbox is the way to go as the brollies just act as sails... and the bigger the sail.......
Excactly right! I switched to pop up soft boxes as the first outdoor shoot I did resulted in smashed brollies!

Lol yep, what about inside vas lighting venues etc??

As above, shoot through brollies are ok for a first modifier, but indoors they lack control and outdoors they'll end up in a pond. If it's for a speedlight the zoom angle will limit the size you would want. I just buy cheap brollies, couldn't tell you what size they are.

Cool. I have a couple of small ones as it is so will make do.
