hi folks.
got my first paying customer this saturday.
ive had a bit of practice with my equipment and im happy with the outcome.
i have a family of 3 kids to shoot
1 3yrs old
1 12 yrs old
and 1 18 years old
does anyone have any hints or tips on positioning them for a nice natural shot?
i dont want it too look too staged so was just looking for some personal preference when shooting this size of group

One thing i would say Daryl is keep them close when framing for a portrait as space between each subject always looks pants to me. Try getting low for some great angles too.

yeh ill have to keep them close as im using hilite 6x7.
i guess ill just ask them to play around with each other and have a laugh and let me just click away.
just looking for some other hints and tips from others with experience

I don't know any 18 year olds that wanna play with kids of 3and 12 even if they are brothers and sisters. You'll need to direct the shoot or you'll stand a chance of getting nothing usable. Gonna be hard to keep the attention of the three year old. Try and have a clear idea of the shot you/parents want and get it early in the sitting. Good luck.

i know thats the problem i have usually families of that age have no interest in each other

was just looking for some tips but ill have a scan about or any other info wld be appreciated
