Cheers mate, mist was a pain for the long shots and never really lifted, some of the long pull ones needed a bit of local contrast adding with USM to bring out the colour/contrast

Correct sir, a third of the way along the dead ball line, that way i have the same coverage from corner to corner with both camera/lens combinations at max focal length.
