Weevil maybe?

Having seen my bros idea at 7:1 antz : thought i would try with my kit, I have a canon extender which only attaches to L series lenses so I have a 25mm extension tube which acts as an adapter to the mpe - 5:1 on the mpe plus all the bits this chap was very ickle about 2-3mm on top of my garden light - seems to loose a bit of clarity and sharpness though.

Yes it's a weevil and a cracking shot of it

You have lost some clarity / sharpness - try a bigger aperture to see if its diffraction - As John say's its one of the very many Weevil species.
